Medium: Ink line with a wash of Dr. Martin's Dye (similar to Beowulf part 3). I used a brown wash, so the originals have a richer feeling than the printed black and white.

spx2003 cover I did an 11-page Gulliver's Travels story for the SPX 2003 anthology, featuring Gulliver's journey to Brobdignag, the land of the giants.

This anthology is published by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund in coordination with the Small Press Expo in Bethesda Maryland. It's a themed anthology, and the 2003 theme was travel. The book is a neat sampler of indy comic artists, with a wide variety of styles and approaches to the theme.

It's now out of print, but you can still find it used.

The story also appears in The Graphic Canon vol. 1 (along with excerpts of my Odyssey and Beowulf).

Here are a few samples from my piece.
